William SEXTON, the son of Timothy and Esther (SISEL) SEXTON, Sr., was
born about 1786 in York District, South Carolina and died on 10 Sep 1854 in

(b. 1800 in VA-d. 1877 in Scott Co., TN), the daughter of Joseph and Phoebe
(HUDSON) GRIFFITH. William and Rhoda had ten children, all of whom are proven.
In an affidavit in the War of 1812 pension of William SEXTON, written in 1871,

was January 1st, 1817 this is the oldest child, then Rebecca, Pegee
