(KENDRICK) OWINGS. Extent of schooling not stated; studied law. Married, date and place not indicated to Maggie Ellen SMITH; children--Margaret Luella, Olive Almeda, and Roscoe C. Engaged in practice of both civil and criminal law; lived at "Oak Circle," Rockwood, Roane County. Attorney general 3rd Judicial Circuit of Tennessee, 1886-98. Member Christian Church; Roane County Bar Ass'n. Died at "Oak Circle," Rockwood, Nov 6, 1905; buried in family graveyard at Post Oak Springs. Cousin of William Edom KENDRICK, sometime member Tenn. General Assembly.
