To the Honorable General Assembly of the State of Tennessee.

Your Petitioner a citizen of the County of Roane respectfully represents to your Honorable
body that he did on the 31st day of December 1825 make an entry in the Entry takers office
of the Hiwassee District (as the Enclosed Certificate will Show) that it appears from an act of
your Honorable body passed the 28th November 1825 that Rebecca REDDEN has a
preference on the Same for Two years & as the Said prefference was Given previous to his
Making Said Entry Your petitioners therefore prays your Honorable body to pass a law
authurising the Treasurer of East Tennessee to pay to him the forty dollars by him paid for
Said Entry and as in duty bound &c.
